Courses at Barnardo’s ETS North are:
Hairdressing – Our hairdressing programmes will help you to gain the skills, knowledge and confidence to work in the Hair Industry, whether you choose to specialise in women’s hairdressing, or specialise in becoming a colour technician.
Beauty Therapy – The Beauty Industry is thriving and offers a huge range of career options from waxing to semi-permanent lash extensions.
Painting and Decorating – As a Painter and Decorator, you have the rewarding job of adding finishing touches to a refurbishment or a newly built property.
Multi Skills Construction – If you are not sure which area of Construction is suitable for you, then this course is for you. The Multi Skills Construction course will appeal to you if you are the type of person who likes to do hands on practical work, and you are unsure of which route to take.
Retail – This qualification is designed for those who would like to work in the retail sector, or those already working in a retail role who wish to progress in their retail career.
Supply Chain Warehousing Operative Apprenticeship – This course provides the skills and knowledge required for a career in warehousing, including operating equipment safely, processing orders, team leadership and managing the receipt and dispatch of goods.
You must be at least 18 years old to enrol on our Supply Chain Warehousing course.
Health & Social Care, Children & Young People – This qualification is for learners who wish to work in the health and social care and early years years/childcare sectors.
Business Administration – Every organisation requires Business Administration support. These courses provide the knowledge and skills required for employment in an Administrative role. You will have the opportunity to learn in different work environments and cover areas such as Administration, Communication and Reception duties.
