About the Academy
The Building Hope Academy is designed for young people aged 16-18yrs and up to 24 with an EHCP (Educational Health care Plan), who are not in education, employment, or training. The full-time study programme is delivered in partnership with Saint Goblin’s Future Place and Phoenix housing.
The accredited Academy provides pre-employment training, work experience, site visits and personal development as well as the Construction skills qualifications.
The aim of the programme is to equip young people with the skills, confidence, and direction to pursue their goals of finding employment, apprenticeships or further education and training. We have focused our provision on young people facing complex barriers, who thrive with additional support to achieve their dreams and aspirations.
We work closely with: Phoenix Housing, DWP, Lewisham Council, Bromley Council, Croydon Council, Southwark Council, Virtual Schools, Youth Offending Service, Construction Youth Trust, Compass.
