Karen has worked as a project worker with Barnardo’s for over 4.5 years, initially in Angus before moving to the Dundee team in 2022. . She helps young people aged 16-29 in Dundee to realise their potential through goal setting, work experience, qualifications and employability skills training to prepare them for employment. Karen delivers the All In Dundee Pathways Programme. She enjoys working at Barnardo’s where she can support the young people throughout their journey into work. She also enjoys breaking down the barriers and helping them into a positive destination.
Hobbies: Swimming, walking, gardening, and spending time with her grandchildren.
