Amy joined Barnardo’s in 2024 and recently moved teams to now support young people aged 15–20 in offsite education. She helps them identify and work towards positive post-school destinations. This includes one-to-one mentoring, building relationships, and developing tailored action plans to re-engage them in education, employment, or training. Amy collaborates with local authorities, training providers, and employers to ensure each young person has access to the right support. Her role involves delivering life skills sessions, supporting personal development, and advocating for young people facing barriers such as mental health challenges, low confidence, or difficult living environments.
Hobbies: Travelling, reading and live music
