Hi, I’m Aliya.
I have recently started working at Barnardo’s after working in adult mental health support for the last few years. I am passionate about making a difference in young people’s lives and helping them to become the best versions of themselves. My main objective at work is to reduce the stigma associated with mental health, so young people feel comfortable accessing the support available – everyone deserves that extra bit of help!
In my free time, you will catch me cooking, jogging or spending time with my nephew! Though I am only an aunty to one, I am an agony aunt to all, so if you ever find yourself getting overwhelmed – come and grab me!
