We are now recruiting for Cohort 2 which will start on 27.05.25 finishing 16.07.25, 8 weeks
- Candidates will be required to attend Monday, Tuesday and Wednesdays from 9.30am till 3pm for up to 8 weeks.
- Lunch and refreshments are provided
- Travel will be reimbursed
- Candidates must be aged between 18 and 29
- Must not be in engaged in employment or training (NEET) Not in Education, Employment or Training

Frances Devine is the lead on The JOBS Project STOCKTON, a Barnardo’s & Amazon project, working together to support care leavers and NEET people (aged 18-29) into employment.
The project is 6 – 8 weeks and uses a blended learning approach where young people have face to face sessions as well as online ‘working from home’ weeks. It is a learner led programme that focusses on young people learning about lifestyle, routine, budgeting, and the benefits of working.
This project will develop confidence and skills in candidates and includes:
- Travel and food expenses reimbursed (local travel prices considered)
- Guaranteed interview with Amazon (candidate must complete the ten weeks)
- 1-to-1 mentoring
- Exploration of target and goals setting skills
- Effective employability workshops
- Confidence building workshops tailored to the group needs
- Finance and accommodation information
- An Amazon site tour
- Opportunities for peer work and development of team building skills
