Entry Level Functional Skills English

At Barnardo’s we aspire to inspire learners with the Functional Skills qualification, as this prepares young people for their future. The course will enable learners to contribute further to scenarios at work, as it will prepare them to understand and participate in discussions, interpret pieces of writing and instructions, as well as helping them to put their point across clearly.

Course Summary

Learner’s will gain the  ability to read, write, speak, listen, and communicate in English at an appropriate level, and to apply the knowledge and skills to real-life situations.

 

Progression will then be on Level 1 Functional Skills in English
