I’ve worked in education for over 20 years, starting out as an assessor and teacher before moving into a range of management roles. I joined Barnardo’s as Centre Manager for ETS Yorkshire in October 2025, and I’m really enjoying being part of such a values-driven organisation where the focus is truly on making a difference.
Before moving into education, my background was in cheffing and hospitality management, so I still love being in the kitchen—I make a mean lasagne and enjoy baking whenever I get the chance!
I’m passionate about helping people to grow and develop, and I firmly believe that everyone should have the opportunity to achieve their full potential. Creating a supportive, inclusive environment for both learners and staff is something I really care about.
Outside of work, I enjoy painting, crafting, gardening and spending time with my family. I’m also a big fan of AC/DC—a bit of a closet rocker on the quiet!

Hi, my name is Eve and I joined Barnardo’s in 2022 as a Business Administration Apprentice, and I am now Administrator for ETS Yorkshire. I graduated from the University of Salford with a degree in Sociology in 2022. I have always had a passion for helping people, so I enjoy the work we do as part of Barnardo’s ETS helping young people. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with friends and family, reading, and going out for food!
